Organization of Socialized and Economic Housing Developers of the Philippines on its successful 9th National Convention with the theme of "Sustaining Housing Growth Amidst Changing Times" held last August 23 to 24 2018 at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, Cebu City.
Many Developers on different sectors all over the Philippines and other officials participates the said event specially those who are loyal members of OSHDP for almost years.
On Day 1: August 23, 2018, The National Convention begins with its opening ceremonies; Parade of Colors, followed by the Invocation and National Anthem which perform the Pag-IBIG Chorale. The Opening salvo which highlights the famous Festival of Cebu; Sinulog Festival Dance which perform by the students of Southwestern University PHINMA.
As the event moving on, the Declaration of Formal Opening & Overview of the Convention was led by Mr. Richard Azares (Convention Chairperson) followed by the Welcome Message of Cebu City, Mayor, Hon. Tomas B. Osmeña.
OSHDP National President, Mr. Marcelino C. Mendoza, discuss the President's Report, and OSHDP Chairman of the Board Engr. George Richard F. Siton discuss the Chairman's Message, Project in Focus: Aspire Homes Riverside.
Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Chairman Mr. Eduardo D. Del Rosario is also present to discuss his Keynote Address to the said event, followed by the introduction of New OSHDP Members.
As the Convention starts the First Segment: BALAI FILIPINO COMMUNITIES: THE SATTE OF PHILIPPINE HOUSING PROGRAMS, panel discussion begins with the moderators of each Government & Non Government Organizations:

Lao of Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), CEO Mr. Acmad Rizaldy P. Moti of Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF), Arch. Marissa B. Maniquis, Department Manager of National Housing Authority (NHA), Atty. Arnolfo Ricardo B. Cabling, President of Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC), OIC & EVP Ms. Corazon G. Corpuz of Home Guaranty Corporation (HGC) and President of National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC).
